In his lecture, Morimoto emphasized that as the AI market expands, the role of AI in scientific fields extends beyond mere efficiency improvements to "complementing and enhancing human decision-making and discovery capabilities." He specifically pointed out that scientific processes such as hypothesis generation and verification are areas that rely on human intellect, and that added value is created through collaboration with AI.
