"Talk Lab KIBIT," a Conversational AI-Powered "Brain Health" Assessment Web Application, to be Offered Through Asahi Mutual Life Insurance's "Everyone's Relief 100-Year Project"

(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; Chairman and CEO: Isao Teshirogi; hereinafter "Shionogi") announce that they will participate in the "Everyone's Relief 100-Year Project" launched by Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenichiro Ishijima; hereinafter "Asahi Life") starting in April 2026. They will begin offering "Talk Lab KIBIT," a conversational "brain health"* assessment web application service powered by AI, jointly developed by FRONTEO and Shionogi, within the ecosystem established by the project.

*The "brain health" in "Talk Lab KIBIT" refers to a score based on AI analysis of contextual connections and vocabulary diversity during a conversation, serving as a comprehensive indicator of memory, language comprehension, and information processing abilities. It is not intended for the diagnosis of any disease.

■ Background and Purpose of Asahi Life's "Everyone's Relief 100-Year Project"

The number of people in Japan certified as needing support or long-term care reached approximately 7 million as of 2023, and it is expected to rise to about 9.5 million by 2030*1*2. Additionally, "business carers," who juggle work with family caregiving, face the challenge of balancing both, which is projected to lead to an economic loss of over 9 trillion yen by 2030*3.

In response to these serious societal issues, and recognizing the growing need for support that goes beyond financial security, Asahi Life has launched the "Everyone's Relief 100-Year Project" to provide comprehensive care solutions.

The project is a "Care and Dementia Ecosystem" where Asahi Life collaborates with external companies to offer comprehensive support, from dementia prevention to post-diagnosis care. Through the dedicated portal site "Everyone's Relief Care & Dementia Navi" and personalized follow-up by Asahi Life's sales staff, the project aims to provide "relief" in an era of 100-year lifespans.

FRONTEO and Shionogi, in support of the project's objectives, will contribute to the visualization of "brain health" through AI analysis of conversational data via Talk Lab KIBIT within this ecosystem.
