BUSCA LLC (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Representative: Shoma Toita), which operates Japan's largest artist support platform "FROM ARTIST," has concluded all sessions of the "FROM ARTIST U25 Exhibition." This exhibition linked the metaverse space (VRChat) with a real gallery in Nakameguro.

This release provides a comprehensive report on the achievements of this project, which explored the potential of next-generation artists from two perspectives: the digital realm and physical space, and the "new form of art experience" that was born from it.

Phase 1: "Psychological Safety" and Deep Dialogue Born from Avatars (VRChat Exhibition)

In the exhibition held in the metaverse (VRChat) space as the first half of the project, communication via avatars dramatically reduced the distance between artists and viewers.

While many viewers feel that traditional gallery exhibitions have a "high barrier to entry" or find it "difficult to speak directly to the artist," the VR space facilitated casual yet in-depth Q&A sessions about the works until late at night.

"Once I entered the VR exhibition, it was so realistic that I exclaimed, 'Wow, amazing!' The space where we could easily exchange comments was very comfortable." (Yoko Oshikari)

"I could imagine the works displayed in various rooms within VR, and hearing feedback from the viewers' perspectives led me to discover, 'This is the form I like.'" (OR)

Phase 2: "Reverse Import" from Digital to Real (Nakameguro Real Exhibition)

The excitement in the VR space culminated successfully in the real exhibition held along the Meguro River in Nakameguro on March 23rd (Monday) and 24th (Tuesday).

Despite the limited operating hours on weekdays during the day, over 150 people visited over the two days. The most significant feature was that those who had experienced the world of the works in the VR exhibition beforehand were eager to see the actual pieces.
