FPC Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and Chairman: Morimasa Sato; hereinafter "FPC") and Super Oji Corporation (Headquarters: Itami-shi, Hyogo; Representative Director and President: Hirofumi Miyamoto; hereinafter "Super Oji") announce the "Eco-Store Collaboration Declaration" to further strengthen the "Store-to-Store" horizontal recycling initiative, which uses stores as starting and ending points, across the 7 stores operated by Super Oji.

Initiatives to be Newly Promoted and Strengthened by the Declaration

Triggered by this collaboration declaration, both companies aim for their stores to become "eco-leaders in their respective regions" and will newly promote and strengthen the following initiatives.

1. Active Use of Eco-Trays

Super Oji will further expand the scope of use of eco-friendly products*1, centered on "Eco-Trays" made from recycled materials, in its store sales floors. Through the active use of eco-friendly products, we will contribute to reducing the environmental load in the region.

2. PR via Posters and Signage to Promote Participation in Horizontal Recycling

To encourage more customers to participate in horizontal recycling, we will begin PR activities using in-store posters and digital signage. By strengthening visual awareness campaigns, we aim to increase the collection volume of used food trays.

Initiatives Continuing Before and After the Declaration: Promotion of "Store-to-Store" Horizontal Recycling

Super Oji collects used food trays at collection boxes in its stores with the cooperation of local residents. All collected food trays are utilized as resources at FPC's recycling plants and reborn as eco-friendly products such as "Eco-Trays." By using these eco-friendly products again in Super Oji's sales floors, we will continue to implement "Store-to-Store" horizontal recycling, which uses stores as starting and ending points. The collection volume of food trays in the previous fiscal year (FY2026) was "1 ton."

Through this initiative, FPC and Super Oji will vigorously promote the circulation of global resources together with local communities and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
