FP Corporation (headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Morimasa Sato; hereinafter "FP Corporation") has been selected as a 'Supplier Engagement Leader'—the highest rating in the CDP Supplier Engagement Rating—for the third consecutive year. This assessment is conducted by CDP, a global non-profit organization.
The CDP Supplier Engagement Rating evaluates companies across five areas—'Governance,' 'Targets,' 'Scope 3 Emissions,' 'Risk Management Processes,' and 'Supplier Engagement'—based on their responses to CDP's climate change questionnaire.
The FP Corporation Group expressed support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in March 2022. Under the initiative 'FP Eco Action 2.0,' and guided by the goals of reducing CO2 emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 31% by the fiscal year ending March 2031 (compared to the fiscal year ending March 2020) and achieving net-zero CO2 emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by fiscal year 2050, working groups (WGs) across product development, SCM procurement, production, logistics, sales, and office operations have established autonomous targets and are advancing initiatives to address environmental challenges.
CDP also conducts thematic evaluations of corporate environmental efforts. FP Corporation has been awarded the 'A-' rating (Leadership Level)—the second-highest possible—for both its responses to the 'Climate Change' and 'Water Security' questionnaires. This recognition was announced in a press release on January 28, 2026.
The FP Corporation Group is actively working to reduce waste and enhance recycling through the expansion of its proprietary 'FP Recycling Method.' The Group is also committed to reducing chemical substances and hazardous waste, aiming to prevent and minimize pollution that could harm natural environments and human health.
Going forward, FP Corporation will continue to collaborate with stakeholders to further strengthen the construction of a sustainable value chain and enhance its response to environmental issues.
