Fpco Co., Ltd. (Chairman: Morimasa Sato, hereinafter "Fpco") and Nishizawa Co., Ltd. (President: Yasuo Araki, hereinafter "Nishizawa") will implement an "Eco-Store Collaboration Declaration" to contribute to the promotion of a sustainable circular society. This declaration aims to strengthen "store-to-store" horizontal recycling*1 at all 11 Nishizawa stores, where used food trays and PET bottles are reborn into new containers and reused in stores.

Both companies aim to make "stores local eco-leaders," actively working to reduce regional environmental impact and effectively utilize recycled resources.

● Key Points of This Initiative

1. Promotion of "Store-to-Store" Horizontal Recycling

Nishizawa continues to collect used food trays, clear containers, and PET bottles at all 11 stores. With the cooperation of local communities, these valuable terrestrial resources, collected in in-store collection boxes, are reborn into new food trays and clear containers through Fpco's "Tray-to-Tray" and "Bottle-to-Clear Container" recycling systems. Nishizawa will continue to promote "store-to-store" circular horizontal recycling, starting and ending at the stores, by actively using regenerated eco-products such as "Eco-Trays"*2 in Nishizawa's sales areas.

2. Expansion of Eco-Product Use and CO2 Emission Reduction Target

Nishizawa reduced CO2 emissions by 70 tons in the fiscal year ending February 2025 through the use of eco-products. With the further expansion of eco-product use due to strengthened collaboration, Nishizawa aims to reduce CO2 emissions by "100 tons" by the fiscal year ending February 2028.

Through this "Eco-Store Collaboration Declaration," Fpco and Nishizawa will strengthen their collaboration to achieve these goals and contribute to the realization of a sustainable circular society together with local communities.
