FPCO Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and Chairman: Morimasa Sato, hereinafter referred to as "FPCO") and Shizutetsu Store Corporation (Headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Toshiyoshi Morishita, hereinafter referred to as "Shizutetsu Store") announce their declaration of an Eco-Store Collaboration as part of their initiatives to protect the global environment and resources. We will jointly promote "Store to Store" horizontal recycling*1, using stores as starting and ending points, across all 36 Shizutetsu Store locations.

1. Overview of Initiatives

FPCO and Shizutetsu Store collect used food trays and transparent containers as resources through collection boxes installed at store fronts. The collected resources are transformed into eco-products*2 through FPCO's "Tray to Tray" system, and by being used again in Shizutetsu Store's sales floors, a circular horizontal recycling is realized. Through creating an environment where local residents can easily participate in recycling, FPCO and Shizutetsu Store aim to reduce waste in the local community and achieve a sustainable society.

2. Achievements of Initiatives

In the fiscal year ending March 2025, Shizutetsu Store collected 165 tons of used food trays. Furthermore, by actively using eco-products such as "Eco Trays," we contributed to a reduction of 268 tons in CO2 emissions in the fiscal year ending March 2025.

3. Future Outlook

By expanding the use of eco-products, FPCO and Shizutetsu Store aim to achieve an annual reduction of 300 tons in CO2 emissions by the fiscal year ending March 2030.

4. Activities to Communicate Initiatives

To convey our recycling initiatives to local residents and children who will lead the future, FPCO and Shizutetsu Store are jointly implementing various activities, such as outreach classes at elementary schools and booth exhibitions at community events. In November 2025, we donated the educational manga "The Secrets of Food Trays," which teaches about food tray recycling, to all elementary schools (81 schools) in Shizuoka City. We will continue to provide opportunities for local residents and children to deepen their understanding of the environment and recycling.
