[Opened June 1, 2026] "Kamiyoga no Ie" Begins Operations

Social Welfare Corporation Foryoukai (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Board Chair: Hiroshi Katori) opened "Special Nursing Home Kamiyoga no Ie" and "Yukkuri Nursing Small-Scale Multi-Functional Care Kamiyoga" in Kamiyoga, Setagaya-ku, on Monday, June 1, 2026. This facility serves as a new regional welfare hub, integrating community-based special nursing care with small-scale multi-functional nursing and home care to provide comprehensive medical, nursing, and daily support. On the first day of operation, staff were fully prepared to welcome residents, approaching their duties with a sense of anticipation and responsibility for this new beginning. Kamiyoga no Ie features a community-based special nursing home (capacity: 29) and small-scale multi-functional nursing care (registered capacity: 29). By integrating facility-based services with home-based support, the facility aims to provide flexible care tailored to changes in residents' conditions while strengthening medical and nursing collaboration within the community. Furthermore, the facility will promote community and multi-generational interaction, serving as an open welfare hub. The facility was built on the site of the former "Setagaya Ward Elderly Rest Home Fujimi-so," which was long cherished by local residents. By inheriting the history of this site, the new facility is expected to foster new community interactions and mutual support. Foryoukai now operates 18 special nursing homes and 10 small-scale multi-functional nursing care facilities, with this being their 5th of each type in Setagaya Ward. Leveraging their experience in community-based integrated care, they aim to provide services that meet local needs and serve as a sustainable model for regional welfare. Kamiyoga no Ie strives to be a place where residents live with peace of mind, a trusted presence for families, and a reliable hub for the community, working toward a society of regional coexistence.
