Hōyūkai Social Welfare Corporation (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo / Chairman: Hiroshi Katori) held its "FY2026 Induction Ceremony" on March 31, 2026, at Ochanomizu Sola City.
This year, a total of 68 new employees joined, comprising 33 new graduates and 35 EPA (Economic Partnership Agreement) staff members. Welcoming talent with diverse backgrounds marks a significant milestone in further strengthening the organization's human resource foundation.
On the day of the ceremony, approximately 130 people attended, including the Chairman, other executives, division managers, administrative staff, and guests.
A Milestone Event Marking a New Beginning
The ceremony included greetings from the Chairman, congratulatory remarks from guests, an address from the Senior Managing Director, the presentation of appointment letters, and an oath from the new employees.
Additionally, welcoming speeches from senior staff, a commemorative photo session, and gift presentations from executives created a warm atmosphere for welcoming the new colleagues into the entire organization.
Welfare Work Starting with "Dialogue"
In his address, the Chairman emphasized that welfare work begins with "listening to the person in front of you."
He stated that Hōyūkai's role is to support each user's feelings and background, enabling them to live their own lives, and further extending this support to their families and the community.
Towards "Community Care Services" Supporting the Entire Region
Our organization promotes "community care services" that integrate facility care and home support to assist people throughout the community.
New employees were told that "it is not necessary to be perfect from the start; a continuous learning attitude is important," expressing expectations for them to grow by confidently taking on challenges.
Four Values to Cherish in Working Life
During the address, the following four principles were presented as important ways of thinking for their future professional lives:
"Let's try": A proactive attitude to challenge oneself
"Thank you": Having a sense of gratitude
"It'll work out": A positive approach to tasks
"Be yourself": Valuing one's individuality
These were shared as important values not only for user support but also for building relationships among staff members.
Becoming Professionals Who Embody the Organization's Philosophy
Hōyūkai is a social welfare corporation with 154 facilities primarily in Tokyo and over 3,000 employees. Within this scale, realizing community-based integrated care through the collaboration of diverse human resources is a crucial role for a corporate social welfare organization.
Under the philosophy of "innovating lives by fostering people in the community," we are committed to realizing community-based integrated care through various welfare services.
The 68 new employees who joined this time are expected to grow into individuals who embody this philosophy by engaging with users, families, and the community in their respective workplaces.
Towards the Future
At the end of the ceremony, expectations for the new employees were expressed: "From today, as members of Hōyūkai, we hope you will cherish yourselves and cultivate work that contributes to the happiness of users and the community." The induction ceremony concluded in a warm atmosphere.
