Forval Exhibits at Municipal & Public Week 2026

Forval Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masanori Nakajima; hereinafter 'Forval') exhibited at 'Municipal & Public Week 2026,' held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, May 13 to Friday, May 15, 2026. At its exhibition booth, Forval introduced its regional revitalization initiatives centered on the 'F-Japan Initiative.'

Background and Purpose of Participation in 'Municipal & Public Week'

Forval Group is implementing regional revitalization projects nationwide, tailored to the specific challenges faced by each local government.

In particular, the 'F-Japan Initiative' aims to achieve sustainable regional revitalization through the local production and consumption of digital transformation (DX) solutions.

The purpose of this exhibition was to showcase Forval Group's comprehensive and essential support initiatives, which address regional challenges across multiple domains, including elderly care and welfare DX, DX talent development, disaster prevention DX, health DX, urban development DX, and industrial DX. During the event, 315 representatives from 220 municipalities and 217 representatives from 191 companies visited the booth.

Exhibition Highlights

The following initiatives were showcased:

Elderly Care / Welfare DX (Kizuna Partner)

'Kizuna Partner' is a regional digital infrastructure designed to bridge the digital divide. It enables elderly individuals to make video calls without touching any devices, allowing 'digital support personnel (supporters)' to provide various digital services such as monitoring, disaster prevention, welfare, medical care, shopping, and transportation support.

DX Talent Development (Digital Talent Development Program)

Focusing on reskilling and employment creation programs targeting residents, Forval has provided support to approximately 129 municipalities nationwide (187 projects).

Disaster Prevention DX (Bear Damage and BCP Measures)

Forval's 'Disaster Prevention DX' offers proposals that do not require large-scale infrastructure upgrades, including multimedia disaster prevention, bear damage countermeasures, and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) measures. This initiative reduces administrative workload for municipal staff, lowers disaster prevention infrastructure renewal costs, and realizes 'disaster prevention DX that leaves no one behind.'

Health DX (TANITA Health Program)

The TANITA Group has been promoting health management since 2009. Noting that this initiative has successfully reduced employee medical expenses, Forval has packaged this expertise into a customized service called the 'TANITA Health Program,' which aims to achieve health management and appropriate medical cost control. Approximately 350,000 people are currently using this program.

Urban Development DX (F-Japan Initiative) and Industrial DX (Kizuna PARK)

The 'F-Japan Initiative' represents Forval's vision for regional revitalization, based on the four national drivers set by the government: 'realizing a green society,' 'accelerating digitalization with public and private sectors,' 'addressing declining birthrates,' and 'building vibrant regional communities.'

Forval supports municipalities by dispatching personnel and providing hands-on support for advancing regional DX, utilizing national programs such as the Cabinet Office's 'Regional Revitalization Human Resource Support System' and the 'New Regional Economy and Living Environment Creation Grant (Regional Future Grant).' Currently, Forval is supporting 123 regional revitalization projects across 65 municipalities nationwide and has dispatched full-time and part-time DX personnel to 27 municipalities, assisting in improving citizen services, enhancing operational efficiency, and solving regional challenges.
