Yuya Tegoshi celebrated his 5th solo debut anniversary today, on Tanabata. Since the release of his solo debut song "Cinnamon" on July 7, 2021, he has continued his active artist career, releasing 17 singles, 2 mini-albums, 2 albums, 1 best-of album, and 8 video titles. To add a new chapter to his activities, the title and tracklist for his third album, to be released on August 26, have been announced. The album title is "☆SUPER☆STAR☆." This title reflects his determination and confidence as a superstar, as he stated on stage during his current nationwide solo tour, "I can proudly call myself a superstar." The album will be released in two formats: CD+DVD and CD ONLY. The CD includes 16 tracks: the singles "Fuse" and "Silhouette," released last year as digital singles; "SUPER STAR," released as a digital single on May 27 before the solo tour started; plus 5 new songs and 8 original karaoke tracks. The original karaoke tracks include Tegoshi's own chorus, making them enjoyable to sing along to. Additionally, the first press limited edition DVD will include the Music Video and unreleased Behind The Scenes footage. Purchase bonuses and shop-specific bonuses have also been announced and pre-orders are now being accepted. New visuals, including the jacket art, will be announced at a later date, so anticipation continues for what will be revealed. Born November 11, 1987
From Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Began entertainment activities at age 15. Active as a member of a male idol group for approximately 17 years from his debut in September 2003 until going independent in June 2020.
During his tenure, he was active in a wide range of fields, not only as a singer but also as the main caster for "FIFA Club World Cup" and "FIFA World Cup," a regular on popular variety shows, and an actor.
After going freelance, he launched his own SNS accounts including X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube channel.
From July 2021, he has been actively working as an artist, releasing new songs for six consecutive months.
