Food Techno Engineering Welcomes 15 New Graduates from Across Japan! 24 New Employees, Including Mid-Career Hires, Take a New Step Forward [Entrance Ceremony]

On April 1st, Food Techno Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tsukuda, Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka) held its fiscal year 2026 entrance ceremony at the head office's main conference room.

This year, a total of 24 new employees joined the company, consisting of 15 new graduates and 9 mid-career hires, bringing together diverse talent from all over Japan. As of April 1, 2026, the number of employees is 188, and it is expected to reach a scale of 200 employees next year. Over 60% of our employees are in their 20s and 30s, making us a young company with an average age of 36. We are accelerating business growth through the active recruitment and development of young talent.

At the entrance ceremony, following greetings from executives and group company presidents, new employees delivered their responses, marking a significant milestone as they embark on a new journey.

◆Characteristics of This Year's New Graduates

This year, new graduates from all over Japan have gathered, comprising diverse academic backgrounds such as university and technical college graduates, and a wide range of backgrounds regardless of their major in science or humanities. Their specialized fields also vary widely, from mechanical and electrical engineering to sales and general affairs, ensuring a balanced recruitment strategy in anticipation of future business expansion.

For the next three months, new employees will undergo group training to gain an understanding of our business and acquire fundamental technical skills. In addition, practical programs simulating real-world scenarios will be implemented to enable them to become immediate assets. Food Techno Engineering's strength lies not only in acquiring practical skills but also in a broad curriculum that fosters imagination and teamwork, including learning about society and developing human qualities. After the training, they will be assigned to various departments according to their aptitude and aspirations, where they will enhance their expertise in areas such as design, construction, maintenance, and sales.

◆Congratulatory Address from President Noda (Partial Summary)

Congratulations on joining us. Food Techno has grown primarily through technology, and we possess several technologies unique to our company in Japan and even globally. Many of these have been developed over the past decade, coinciding with the period when the number of young employees began to increase. I hope all of you will play a part in this.

The year before last, we set the vision of "Reform and Challenge," and last year, "Becoming a company that contributes to society." We will contribute to society through our business while addressing various social issues such as energy problems, food loss, and plastic waste.

In this context, I want to convey three principles to you: "Action over Observation," "Expression over Silence," and "Altruism over Self." First, take action; second, express your thoughts; and third, think and act not only for yourselves but also for those around you and society. Saying nothing is the same as affirmation. Please take the first step.

Also, there's no need to cover up, lie, or make excuses when things don't go well. It's important to honestly admit, "I was unprepared, I will learn from now on." That way, you can move forward yourself. You have the power to change the company and society. Food Techno provides the foundation for that.

I believe that risk is "not taking action." If you don't challenge yourself, you can't grow and you can't become the person you want to be. Not doing what you want to do and letting it end that way is the biggest risk. It's okay to challenge and fail. Those experiences build a person.

This work related to food is a field that will never disappear. There is still much room for development, and we will actively promote young people. Please continue to challenge yourselves positively and expand your possibilities.
