The Japan Vegetable Sommelier Association (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Eiji Fukui, hereafter 'the Association') held the '5th National Mini Tomato Championship' (hereafter 'this Championship') in Tokyo and Osaka on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. This is a produce exhibition event aimed at further enhancing the value of agricultural products. From a total of 95 highly confident mini tomatoes gathered from all over the country, vegetable sommeliers acting as evaluators tasted them with all information such as origin, variety, and producer concealed. They judged the taste and determined the most delicious 'mini tomato'.
