SOPHIA's Mitsuru Matsuoka Welcomes His 'Big Brother' Kazuya Miyata on FM Osaka's 'iDoBuddy'

Kazuya Miyata of JUN SKY WALKER(S) will appear as a guest on the June 3rd broadcast of FM Osaka's daytime wide program "iDoBuddy." Both JUN SKY WALKER(S) and SOPHIA, to which Wednesday personality Mitsuru Matsuoka belongs, debuted from TOY'S FACTORY and reunited with the label in 2023. Both bands have been active for a long time. Matsuoka has looked up to Miyata as a "big brother" since before his debut, and in the program, they will look back on their 34-year bond that began with their meeting in Osaka. In the talk, they will look back on the episode when SOPHIA served as the opening act for JUN SKY WALKER(S), with Miyata revealing, "There was a rumor that if you did the opening act for Jun Sky, you would sell well. Mr. Children did it, and then SOPHIA." Miyata, who says, "I can actually hit higher notes than I used to. My jeans size hasn't changed either," also mentions how he deals with alcohol and cigarettes, and the "only thing that has changed" in his long career.
