FM AICHI (FM Aichi Co., Ltd. Nagoya FM80.7MHz / Toyohashi FM81.3MHz) has begun accepting entries for the "FM AICHI Radio CM Contest 2026" starting today, July 1.
This contest invites participants to create and submit 20-second radio commercial copy based on themes provided by each sponsoring company. Anyone, regardless of location within or outside Aichi Prefecture, professional or amateur status, or age, can participate. The Grand Prix winner will receive a cash prize of 100,000 yen, and their winning work will be produced and broadcast as a radio commercial on FM AICHI. Additionally, there are Sponsor Company Awards (one work per sponsor company: 20,000 yen cash prize each) and a Student Award (one work: 50,000 yen cash prize) for students.
The "FM AICHI Radio CM Contest 2025," held last year in 2025 after approximately a 7-year hiatus, received 3,032 entries from across the country in response to themes from 10 sponsoring companies. Following last year's success, the contest will be held again this year. Fifteen sponsoring companies, more than last year, will provide a variety of themes.
Mr. Shinya Nakajima, Creative Advisor at Tohoku Shinsha Ltd., Creative Director, and CM Director, will serve as the special judge again this year.
Entries can be submitted through the "FM AICHI Radio CM Contest 2026" homepage on the official FM AICHI website. There is no limit to the number of entries per person, regardless of the theme.
