Flowworks Inc. (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director: Hiroshi Yokozeki), which promotes the spread and utilization of BIM with the vision of "BIM for everyone, easily," has begun accepting applications for its "BIM Regular Training Course" for architectural design practitioners, which will open on April 1, 2026.

This course primarily targets small and medium-sized design offices and construction-related companies facing challenges in BIM adoption and human resource development. It features specialized courses selectable by level and a curriculum directly linked to practical work. By utilizing templates provided by Flowworks, learning efficiency is enhanced, and these templates can continue to be used even after the course. The course fee starts from 90,000 yen (excluding tax) per course, and it is also possible to take the course using subsidies, so seminars for application are planned.

"BIM Drawing Review" is also scheduled to start in April 2026, requiring correct BIM modeling based on IFC output, and demanding BIM skills rooted in practical work more than ever before. Flowworks will continue to offer this course as a place to acquire realistic and practical BIM skills, looking ahead to design practices from 2026 onwards.

"BIM Regular Training Course" for acquiring BIM skills directly applicable to work in a short, intensive period

With the "BIM Drawing Review" starting in April 2026 and national architectural DX/GX promotion projects, the importance of BIM utilization will continue to increase. On the other hand, many voices are heard saying:

  • Too busy with daily tasks to allocate enough time for education

  • Unable to break away from self-taught operations

  • Want to streamline drawing and modeling first, rather than large-scale DX

To address these on-site challenges, Flowworks will open practical BIM courses directly linked to work starting in April.
