The MetLife Women's F.League will be changing its tournament format over the next two seasons.

For the 2026-27 season, we will move from the conventional central venue system, where five matches per round are held at a single venue, to a system where each club will host home games for up to two matches per round at a separate venue from the central one.

Furthermore, in the 2027-28 season, we will transition to a full home-and-away format for all matches, similar to the current MetLife F.League.

By increasing the number of home games, we aim to transform the teams to be more community-based, which will lead to strengthening the management capabilities of each club. We hope that the increased excitement in the Women's F.League will lead to the development of women's futsal and, furthermore, to the strengthening of the Japan Women's National Futsal Team.
