The original fabric we use is carefully made by the skills of Japanese artisans, from thread selection to weaving and dyeing finish. It is a special fabric created over two years, using finer threads than general linen, while repeatedly making prototypes with leading Japanese weaving artisans. To finish it into a material that combines lightness, an elegant expression, and a sense of security that is not too sheer, we repeated experiments with an artisan who has been involved with linen for over 40 years. Pursuing the breathability, suppleness, and tension of the material, we carefully designed the number of threads and the balance of the weave so that beautiful silhouettes harmonize comfortably in the linen. Furthermore, for the dyeing finish, we requested a special process from a factory that also receives appointments from global maison brands. We gave it a natural luster that looks as if it is wrapped in light, and a supple resilience that beautifully sways with movement.
