FJ Next Holdings Co., Ltd. surveyed 400 single residents in their 20s and 30s living in the Tokyo metropolitan area regarding their delivery habits. The results show that while 'several times a month' is the most frequent usage, over half of respondents (54%) rarely or never use delivery services. Although 'in-person' receipt remains the top choice, over 60% of respondents prefer non-face-to-face delivery methods, highlighting convenience during absences as a key benefit of 'Okihai' (leaving packages at the door), despite significant concerns about theft.
