Fiskars Japan Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) announces the launch of new items from the 'Mystical Forest' collection, the first full-line glassware collection by Moomin Arabia, the Finnish lifestyle brand. The new items will be released sequentially starting July 29, 2026 (Wed).

The new lineup includes a footed 'serving bowl' perfect for desserts and snacks, a 'candle holder' for tea lights, as well as kitchen essentials such as a 'pot holder', 'kitchen towel', and 'oven mitt'. With their luminous glass texture and refreshing color palette, these pieces bring the whimsical, imaginative world of 'The Happy Moomin Family' to life, adding vibrant charm to summer dining and everyday living.

An Enchanted Forest Brought to Life Through Luminous Glass

Inspired by Tove Jansson's 1948 novel 'The Happy Moomin Family', 'Mystical Forest' debuted in 2024 as Moomin Arabia's first complete glassware collection.

Featuring clear, green, and blue tones, the collection showcases delicate embossing and intricate details that evoke the story's magical world. The glass sparkles in the light, revealing different facets of beauty depending on the time of day and setting, bringing a refreshing elegance to dining tables and living spaces.

Moomin Arabia is committed to creating products that are cherished for generations, steadily advancing sustainable craftsmanship. The glassware is produced at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland—a facility with over 100 years of heritage—where master artisans and refined design techniques beautifully capture the essence of the Moomin stories.

The Moomins' Story Lives in the Glass

'Mystical Forest' features iconic scenes and characters from 'The Happy Moomin Family'.

Delicate detailing brings to life memorable moments such as when Sniff and Snufkin reveal the 'King's Ruby' hidden in their suitcases to Moomin, or when Moominhouse magically transforms into a jungle through the wizard's hat. Each piece captures the symbolic essence of the story with artistic precision.
