This initiative is part of finetrack's "Connecting to the Future, a Fine Track" project, aimed at preserving and passing on a harmonious outdoor environment to future generations. This year, Caravan Inc. newly joins the effort, bringing together manufacturers with different expertise to collaborate on the common stage of the outdoors and address the challenge of trail conservation.
On-site training with LEKI trekking poles
On the first day, participants will observe previously conserved trail sections during their trek up Adatara Mountain. They will visit the hot spring sources of Dake Onsen from the direction of Kurogane Hut, which is currently under reconstruction, and trek through volcanic terrain. Additionally, they can try out Caravan's latest footwear and receive on-site training with LEKI trekking poles, experiencing their practical application in the field. In the evening, finetrack staff will introduce the "Dry Layer Project with Donations."
Conservation work carried out collaboratively by participating members
On the second day, participants will learn about the challenges facing mountain trails and gain hands-on experience in conservation work. After the conservation activities, they can refresh themselves with a soak in the renowned hot springs of Dake Onsen.
