finetrack Inc., represented by Yotaro Kanayama, will hold the “Mount Adatara Trail Conservation & Active Volcano Trekking” event on June 6-7, 2026, in the Mount Adatara and Dake Onsen area of Nihonmatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, in cooperation with the Adatara Azuma Nature Center and Caravan Co., Ltd. Set in Mount Adatara within Bandai-Asahi National Park, this two-day, one-night experiential program lets participants engage with real trail conservation work while exploring the dynamic terrain unique to an active volcano and visiting the source of Dake Onsen. The initiative is part of finetrack’s project to pass on high-quality mountain trails to the future, supporting outdoor fields where people and nature coexist in harmony. Caravan joins the project this year, bringing together outdoor manufacturers with different areas of expertise to address trail conservation in a shared field setting. On day one, participants will learn about trail issues on site and take part in hands-on conservation work, followed by a layering seminar led by finetrack staff in the evening. On day two, the group will visit the source of Dake Onsen from the area near the currently rebuilding Kurogane Hut, trek through volcanic terrain toward Mount Tetsu and Mount Adatara, and receive field instruction from Caravan staff on how to use LEKI trekking poles. The event will take place from June 6 to 7, 2026, at Mount Adatara and Dake Onsen in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima. Accommodation is at Oyado Hanakanzashi, room only. Capacity is limited to 10 participants, with a minimum of one participant required. The participation fee is 22,000 yen including tax, and includes one 2026 model donation-linked dry layer supporting the future of mountain trails. The event is hosted by the Adatara Azuma Nature Center and co-hosted by finetrack Inc. and Caravan Co., Ltd. Registration will close once capacity is reached.
