Jumbo Ferry Establishes LUUP Port at Takamatsu Terminal to Enhance Access to Surrounding Areas

Jumbo Ferry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kobe City, Representative: Masayoshi Yamagami), which operates ferries connecting Kobe, Shodoshima, and Takamatsu, has installed a LUUP port at its Takamatsu ferry terminal.

The mobility option available at the installed port is an electric-assist bicycle. These bicycles allow for comfortable travel even on slopes and have a front basket for carrying luggage, making them convenient for various situations such as getting around the port area, sightseeing, shopping, and strolling.

*For safety reasons, kickboards are not provided.

Convenient for Various Scenarios

For Udon Shop Hopping

Recommended for those who want to visit various udon restaurants when in Takamatsu.

You can create a flexible udon shop hopping route by moving between ports within the city without returning to Takamatsu Station.

For Shopping

Convenient for quick shopping while waiting for your ferry.

Within approximately a 10-minute bike ride from the Takamatsu terminal, you'll find Aeon, convenience stores, drugstores, etc., allowing you to easily explore the town.

For Moving While Using "Chotto Koma"

LUUP is also convenient for meals and shopping during breaks for those using the rest booth service "Chotto Koma," which started in February 2024. You can easily go into Takamatsu city even during times when the shuttle bus is not running.

For Travel Between Takamatsu Station and the Port

LUUP is a convenient means of transportation when you have time before the shuttle bus to the port, but walking is too much of a burden.

You can travel smoothly from the Takamatsu Station area to the port at your own pace, without being bound by time.
