FENNEL Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ryo Takashima) will hold 'GC EXPO 2026 in Okayama,' a joint job fair for gamer students, at Convex Okayama on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
This event is the second of its kind, following the first 'GC EXPO feat. ALGS Sapporo' held in Sapporo, Hokkaido in January 2026. It aims to facilitate recruitment matching between companies and students in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, centered around Okayama Prefecture. With the keyword 'love for games,' it will create new opportunities for direct interaction between job-hunting gamers and companies.
All that's required to participate is a passion for games. Gaming history and skill level do not matter. The time and experience dedicated to gaming will be legitimately evaluated here.
We will provide a place where encounters with companies, evaluation, and career connections are initiated through 'games.'
**Event Background**
While continuing to fight at the forefront of the competitive scene, the pro e-sports team 'FENNEL' has also been working to connect the passion and experience of gaming to careers, with the mission of creating 'a society where gamers can live with pride.'
The decision to hold this event was made with the dual purpose of realizing the vision of creating a future where students who have seriously engaged with games can proudly use that experience as a 'weapon in their career choices,' and addressing the recent recruitment challenges of acquiring talent.
Skills honed through gaming, such as decision-making, concentration, and teamwork, are rarely highlighted in the existing job market but are important qualities for success at work. By matching these high-potential gamer students with companies in the Okayama and nearby areas, we will address issues faced by regional companies, such as 'acquiring local students' and 'recruiting through new channels.'
The outflow of young talent and recruitment difficulties in regional areas are serious issues in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions as well. Through the new approach of gaming, we will expand career options for staying in or returning to the local area and create new points of contact connecting the region and its youth.

**What is GC EXPO?**
This is a career event aimed at bringing students and companies together under the banner of 'games.' It goes beyond the framework of traditional job fairs to create a place where values and passion are conveyed through gaming, giving rise to encounters with companies/talent that would not have happened otherwise, and new forms of matching.
**■ Information Session Booths**
Companies from within and outside the Chugoku and Shikoku regions will participate in the information session booths under the banner of 'games.' Students can start conversations naturally with company representatives, using their shared interest in 'loving games' as a starting point, allowing for flat communication that is not bound by titles or academic backgrounds.
About 10 companies are expected to participate. They will come from a wide range of fields, transcending industry and job type boundaries, all with an understanding of and interest in gaming.
We will provide a place where students and companies can engage honestly with 'games' as a common language, leading to new encounters.
**■ Game Booths**
The venue will feature game booths where participants can directly challenge professional players.
We plan to use competitive titles that are supported by young people worldwide and have the power to connect people with excitement across borders, languages, and positions. Through both the immersion of being a player and the excitement of being a spectator, the passion and challenging spirit of the youth will be vividly visualized.
Any student can earn the 'right to challenge a pro.' Through actual matches, not only gaming skills but also the attitude of taking on challenges and the passion itself will be visualized. Defeating a pro player can earn you luxurious prizes, and there is also the possibility of being approached by a company representative who witnessed the match.
This is an unprecedented job event where the act of playing itself leads to evaluation.
