Pro eSports Team "FENNEL" Pokémon UNITE Division Crowned Asian Champions with Undefeated Run at "Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2026 FINALS"

(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ryo Takashima; hereinafter referred to as "FENNEL") is pleased to announce that its professional eSports team, "FENNEL," Pokémon UNITE division, has won the "Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2026 FINALS" (hereinafter referred to as "PUACL2026 FINALS"), held at Yokohama BUNTAI (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) from March 28-29, 2026.

This tournament is the largest-scale international competition in the Pokémon UNITE competitive scene, with 16 teams that advanced through league qualifiers from five Asian regions battling for the Asian throne. FENNEL advanced undefeated throughout the tournament, ultimately defeating REJECT in a full 3-2 set in the Grand Finals to claim the title of Asian Champion.

As a result of this victory, they have earned the right to participate in the "2026 Pokémon UNITE World Championships" (WCS2026), which will be held in San Francisco, USA, in August 2026.

## About PUACL2026 FINALS

"Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2026 FINALS" is an offline international tournament featuring a total of 16 teams from five regions: Japan, Southeast Asia, India, Latin America, and China. The tournament was conducted in a double-elimination format with Bo3 (best-of-three) matches, and the Grand Finals awarded one game advantage to the upper bracket winner. The "Fearless Draft" rule, where a Pokémon cannot be selected again after being used once in a game, was applied, demanding a wide character pool and strategic adaptability from players.

FENNEL, after finishing first in their group stage in the PUACL2026 Japan League, won all their matches in the Playoff on February 15th to enter the FINALS as the Japanese champions. On Day 1, they maintained their upper bracket position by defeating GodLike Esports (India) and CACM Esports (Latin America) consecutively. On Day 2, they defeated Rival Esports in the Upper Semifinals and Dignitas in the Upper Finals, advancing to the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals became an all-Japanese showdown against REJECT, who had advanced through the lower bracket with six consecutive wins. FENNEL, with the one-game advantage as the upper bracket winner, faced REJECT, who showed strong determination by winning back two games. However, FENNEL maintained their composure throughout the series to secure the victory and stand at the pinnacle of Asia.
