The Japanese team, entering this tournament ranked 4th in the world, defeated Germany 45-30 in the quarterfinals. Athlete Comments - Misaki Emura (Tachihi Holdings Co., Ltd.) 'I am very happy to stand on the podium in a team event for the first time in a while. There were frustrating moments, but there were also good moments, and being able to fight until the end while encouraging and supporting each other as a team made me feel that we are a truly good team. Personally, it's frustrating that I got injured during the third-place match and caused trouble for the team, but first I want to focus on treatment and prepare well for the next tournament.'
