Miffy Comes to Kobe's Summer Again! 'KOBE PORT TOWER×Dick Bruna TABLE in KOBE Waterfront' to be Held with Nighttime-Themed Visuals!

FELISSIMO, which operates the rooftop deck, observation floors, and the entrance and ticket booths on the first floor of the Kobe Port Tower, and the wine bar & cafe restaurant Dick Bruna TABLE, where you can enjoy wine, food, and conversation with illustrations by Dick Bruna, will hold a summer event titled 'KOBE PORT TOWER×Dick Bruna TABLE in KOBE Waterfront' ~Night Time~ from July 30 (Thu) to September 30 (Wed), 2026. The event will feature various experiences such as gourmet food, accommodation, cruises, and night views, all infused with the world of Dick Bruna.

Last year's event, which delivered a variety of experiences such as gourmet food, accommodation, cruises, and night views, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Dick Bruna all day long, was well-received and brought smiles and liveliness to the region. This year, in response to the increasingly hot summers, the event will add nighttime content such as limited-night goods and night markets, in addition to the popular accommodation plans and night view spots like Ferris wheels from last year. The event will return during the summer vacation season with a key visual themed around nighttime, aiming to provide a comfortable and refreshing experience. This event is designed to encourage visitors to stay overnight in Kobe, where day-trippers are more common, and to discover the charm of Kobe not only during the daytime bustle but also through night views and other attractions. The facilities in the Kobe Waterfront Area will work together to deliver a special happiness of finding Miffy all over the city throughout the day.

Event Key Visual

The Kobe Port Tower and Dick Bruna TABLE, operated and produced by FELISSIMO, will serve as the core of this event to create 'liveliness' and 'smiles' in the Kobe Waterfront Area. During last year's first-time event, the largest number of visitors since the renovation contributed to the attraction of tourists to the Kobe Waterfront Area, including the surrounding areas.

This year, the event will feature collaborations with tourist and dining facilities, art, hotels, and night views that were popular last year, as well as spots where Miffy's face design will appear. Additionally, for the first time, products and events limited to after 17:00 will be introduced. While taking measures against the increasingly harsh summer heat, the event will also promote the attraction of visitors to Kobe at night.

The event will also feature two types of designs, each representing daytime and nighttime, in addition to the event's key visual. The design aims to wrap up a day in Kobe's summer with the gentle worldview of Dick Bruna. The daytime design features motifs such as ships, trees, animals, and sea creatures, imagining Kobe's city surrounded by the sea and mountains. The nighttime design features motifs such as stars, the moon, and clouds, inspired by the picture book 'Miffy's Dream,' creating a dream-like space with Miffy.

≪Rooftop Deck Brilliance Tiara Open-air Deck≫

Miffy photo spots will appear on the glass walls. This year, Miffy riding on clouds and stars are scheduled to appear. At night, you can enjoy a space like Miffy's dream world with Kobe's night view as the background.

Additionally, a Miffy flag will be installed on the lightning rod of the Kobe Port Tower, which is located 108 meters above the ground.

Various photo spots will appear, including panels and tapestries featuring the event logo and key visuals, approximately 150 cm high.

≪4th Floor Observation Deck Brilliance Museum≫

The Museum of Light will feature interactive art and neon art adorned with Miffy motifs. In works where the event logo appears as you walk over Miffy's ball rolling on the floor, or where Miffy motif fireworks go up as you touch the wall, you can enjoy the experience of changing images according to your movements. In the mirror room, the event logo and illustrations will appear on the mirror. All of these are visuals imagined for this year's nighttime, and are photo-friendly photo spots.
