Hemp, a sacred plant historically linked to Japanese life and rituals. This kit allows you to create accessories by twisting the fiber 'Seima' extracted from its stem. Seima is believed to have purifying powers and has been used in deep-rooted Japanese culture, such as in shrine 'shimenawa' (sacred ropes), 'suzuo' (ringing cords), and Yokozuna's ceremonial aprons. In this kit, you start by twisting the hemp into a strip, then knotting it and shaping it into accessories, incorporating elements like crystal beads and glass beads. The charm of this kit lies in its ability to help you forget the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in ancient handcrafts while quietly confronting yourself.

'Nawu' (to twist) means to twist threads together by hand to create a single strong thread or rope. In Japanese traditional culture, 'shimenawa' used for shrines and New Year's decorations are also made by twisting straw or rope. You can easily experience this 'nawu' process at your own desk.

There are six designs. They are likely to become special, almost like amulets, for you.

◆Crocheted Airy Ear Accessories Kit

This ear accessory kit features the soft nuances unique to crochet, with an airy, fluffy feel like trapped air, combined with the sparkle and texture of beads. The accessories are made by crocheting beads threaded onto delicate yarn using a fine No. 8 crochet hook.

Although it looks intricately crafted, it mostly consists of chain stitches or single crochet. Since you repeat the same stitch, you can get absorbed and crochet rhythmically.

Each design comes with different types of yarn, including gold and silver threads, and lace yarn.

Beads are pre-strung onto the yarn, and by picking up 1-3 beads at a time with chain stitches, the beads gradually form the design.

There are six designs. They feature chic color palettes that are easy to match with outfits, yet possess a striking presence, resulting in a sophisticated finish.
