Brewed by 'f winery', an urban winery operated by Felissimo, using grapes grown in Kobe, this is the 'Sailing Ship "Miraie" x Felissimo "Ship Club" Collaboration Original Wine f winery 137 ', featuring an eye-catching etiquette (label) depicting the sailing ship 'BLUE OCEAN Miraie'. By transporting it on the sailing ship 'BLUE OCEAN Miraie', this wine allows you to taste the historical romance that recreates the sake brought down by the 'Kitamaebune'.
(*1) A shipping route established in the Edo period, connecting the Kamigata region and ports along the Sea of Japan coast via the western route. The active ships were called 'Kitamaebune', and they traded their cargo at each port of call. Goods from the Sea of Japan coast were transported to Kamigata, and sake from Kamigata, as well as salt, cotton, and used clothing, were transported to ports along the Sea of Japan coast, fostering a thriving trade. Japanese sake and shochu were transported and gained great popularity.
- The wine will be loaded at the Port of Kobe, with a scheduled departure on May 20th. It will head from Kobe to the Port of Moji through the Seto Inland Sea, a section of the western shipping route.

◆ Kobe-produced f winery 137, where you can feel a refreshing sea breeze within its depth
Brewed at f winery, located right in front of the Port of Kobe, using Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon produced in Kobe. The golden ratio of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from Kobe City, balancing a 'royal structure' with a 'glamorous drinking experience', is a so-called Bordeaux blend. These two varieties are from old vines over 30 years old. Even in Japan, these can be said to be in the realm of extremely rare 'old vines'. During the harsh environment of the severe heat in the summer of 2024, it was precisely because they are old vines rooted deep in the ground that they could maintain their vitality and preserve an appropriate degree of ripeness. Grown in a warm climate, the Merlot gently wraps the powerful tannins of the Cabernet, adding a silk-like 'fleshiness' and 'glamour'. With the concentrated aroma of cassis and blackberry, the refreshing herbs derived from grass cultivation, the mellow fruitiness of Merlot, and the dignified acidity and tannins of Cabernet in a 6:4 ratio, it features a deep lingering finish that young trees cannot produce, making you feel a sensuality amidst its power. It pairs well with meat dishes such as lean meat steak, yakiniku, and roast beef. Thinly sliced lean Kobe beef steak and teppanyaki are highly recommended. Also beef stew and red wine stews. For Japanese cuisine, roasted root vegetables and grilled shiitake mushrooms. For snacks, hard cheeses like Mimolette and Comté, and bitter chocolate with plenty of cacao.
