Felissimo will host its "Kobe School" message live event on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Stage Felissimo and online. Creative director Manabu Mizuno, representative of good design company, will speak on the theme "From knowledge to sense, and then to form." Mizuno's work spans brand and product planning, graphic design, packaging, interiors, advertising, and long-term brand strategy. His notable branding projects include "THE," Panasonic, Kumamoto Prefecture's "Kumamon," Sotetsu Group, Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten, and Kubara Honke's "Kayanoya." His book, "Sense wa Chishiki kara Hajimaru" (Sense Begins with Knowledge), published by Asahi Shimbun Publications in 2014, articulates the concept of "sense" and provides training methods. The lecture will cover practical branding examples, insights into his creative process, and considerations for effective communication. The event will take place from 13:30 to 16:00 (doors open 13:00) at Stage Felissimo 1F Hall (7-1 Shinko-cho, Chuo-ku, Kobe City). Ticket prices are 1,200 yen for general admission, 1,000 yen per person for students or groups of two or more, and 500 yen for online streaming. Proceeds will support children who have lost family members due to illness or disaster through the Ashinaga Ikueikai. Mizuno has received numerous awards, including the Cannes Lions Gold and The One Show Gold.
