The game's developer, Syrian game creator Rashad Asaad, encountered Japanese games during his childhood spent amidst war. In his daily life surrounded by chaos and anxiety, the world expanding on the screen was his "only sanctuary to escape reality." With the thought of "someday wanting to make a game that can save someone's heart," he came to Japan and completed this work, 'Mochiko The Samurai,' over a period of about two years together with a Japanese company. Additionally, Yuuka Nakamura, known as a former SKE48 member, is in charge of the CV for this work, breathing life into the main character, Mochiko.
