The feelnature campbase, a campsite in Katsuura City, Chiba Prefecture, is currently running a crowdfunding campaign to build "SAUNA SATORI," a fully private outdoor sauna based on the concept of "Zen" (scheduled for completion in July 2026). The campaign has now surpassed 1 million yen in total funding, with over 95 supporters. The crowdfunding campaign is scheduled to run until March 31, 2026.

Additionally, a Japanese garden, one of the major features of this project, has been completed under the supervision of gardener Ryoichi Kanai (known for his appearances on the TV program "Dramatic Before & After").

This garden is designed as an outdoor relaxation space for use after the sauna, incorporating traditional elements of Japanese gardens such as kakei (bamboo water spouts), tsukubai (stone basins), stone lanterns, paved paths, and stepping stones.

In his garden design, Mr. Kanai emphasizes harmony with nature, utilizing existing terrain and materials. By making use of the stones and plants already present on the land, this garden has created an outdoor relaxation space that blends into the landscape as if it had been there from the beginning.

By resting the body, warmed by the sauna, amidst the natural breeze and the quiet scenery of the garden, the project aims to provide a deep relaxation experience that cannot be found in the city.

"SAUNA SATORI" is a sauna themed around facing nature, calming the mind, and focusing on the present moment.

Located about an hour and a half from Tokyo, Katsuura is a nature-rich region surrounded by the sea and mountains. This project began with the desire to utilize that environment to provide a space where people can spend time feeling the silence of the forest, the breeze, and the shifting of light.
