AEON Fantasy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mihama-ku, Chiba City; President and Representative Director: Tokuya Fujiwara; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce the second free distribution of its original design "Lala-chan's Children's Wheelchair Mark Holder," which was first released in February of this year and received a significant response, as part of its sustainability management initiative to "Contribute to the Future of Children." In response to popular demand and feedback from users, the second free distribution will begin on July 1, 2026 (Wednesday).
Eliminating invisible "barriers to mobility" before the summer vacation season when outings increase.
Children with physical disabilities who use "children's wheelchairs (e.g., stroller-type wheelchairs)" are often mistaken for strollers due to their appearance, making it difficult to gain understanding from those around them when using public transportation or commercial facilities.
A survey conducted during the first distribution in February of this year (N=184) revealed an extremely serious reality.
[Survey Results]
"Have you ever experienced trouble or unpleasantness due to being mistaken for a stroller?"
Experienced many times (3 or more times): 52.7% (97 people)
Experienced (1-2 times): 27.7% (51 people)
→ The total number of "experienced" responses was approximately 80% (80.4%) of the total.

[Sincere voices and joyful feedback from families of users, collected in the free response section (excerpts)]
◆ Sincere voices hurt by unintentional misunderstandings
- "I've been teased by strangers' children saying, 'A big boy is riding in a stroller,' and told by people I don't know, 'Why is such a big child... are you spoiling them?' It's happened many times." (Parent of a 5-year-old)
- "When I asked to use the stair lift because the elevator at the station was under construction, I was almost refused, with them saying, 'This is for wheelchairs' (mistaking it for a stroller)." (Parent of an elementary school student)
- "Because the stroller looks similar to a stroller, I've heard people whispering, 'Why is only that child in a stroller?' I applied because I thought seeing the wheelchair mark might help people understand a little." (Parent of a 5-year-old with a rare disease)
◆ Expressions of gratitude for this initiative and joy for Lala-chan
- "The collaboration mark with my favorite Lala-chan is so cute! It's wonderful that a single cute mark can bring smiles to both the viewer and the wearer. We will use it with care." (Parent of a 4-year-old)
- "When using a stroller, I was often told to 'leave it in the stroller parking area' at facilities, which made me anxious about going out. It's incredibly helpful and reassuring that a major company like AEON Fantasy is publicly promoting this kind of activity." (Parent of an elementary school student)
- "I had been using a handmade mark, but it was getting dirty, so the free distribution is a real help. Your company's philosophy of 'aiming for a society where all children can enjoy exciting experiences' has been a lifesaver. I will continue to support you." (Parent of a wheelchair user)
Ahead of the summer vacation season, when opportunities for outings increase, we aim to create a society where all children can enjoy the outside world with smiles and without hesitation, by redistributing this mark holder, so that children with disabilities and their families do not hesitate to go out due to such "unintentional misunderstandings" and "unconscious biases."

Our initiatives to eliminate the "experience gap in play."
The Company established its "Sustainability Policy" in 2022 and is promoting sustainability management as its core. As part of its materiality, "Contribution to the Future of Children," we are working to create a society where all children, regardless of disability, can enjoy equal opportunities, and are engaged in activities to eliminate the "experience gap in play."
To date, we have implemented various programs tailored to diverse needs, including movie screenings for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, "Warm Time in AEON CINEMA," designated "Warm Time" periods for playing without worrying about others' eyes, "Calm Down Spaces" for those with sensory sensitivities, and the introduction of "Inclusive Swings" usable by children with physical disabilities.
