On Tuesday, March 17, FANCL Corporation held a lunch seminar event at "Creative Cuisine FANCL Reiwa Honzen" on the 9th floor of FANCL Ginza Square. This event was realized through a collaboration with Koiwai Dairy Products Co., Ltd., marking its second occurrence. FANCL's restaurants, as part of an initiative utilizing the synergy of the Kirin Group, plan and host food events that lead to learning and discovery in customers' lives.
The theme for this event was "Spring Gut Health Lunch Seminar: Eat to Regulate – Surprisingly Recommended!? Japanese Cuisine with Yogurt." We invited a Gut Health Advisor® from Koiwai Dairy Products as a lecturer. The event featured a gut health seminar focusing on the appeal of Koiwai Dairy Products and yogurt as a familiar gut health ingredient, along with a special lunch featuring Japanese cuisine incorporating yogurt.
【Event Highlights】
•Gut Health Seminar by a Gut Health Advisor®
One of the event's attractions was the gut health seminar, enjoyed during lunch, led by a marketing department employee who is a certified Gut Health Advisor®. Beyond highlighting the appeal of Koiwai 100% Raw Milk Yogurt, the seminar's content was designed to encourage greater use of yogurt as a familiar gut health ingredient, serving as an opportunity for participants to re-evaluate their own and their families' diets. It became an event where not only the lecturer but also customers already interested in gut health could refocus on their daily well-being.
•A Variety of Japanese Dishes Using Yogurt
Guests enjoyed creative Japanese cuisine, presented in a Shokado bento style, made with brown rice and featuring products such as Koiwai 100% Raw Milk Yogurt and Koiwai Premium Cream Yogurt Gourmet Fan.
New charms of yogurt were brought out through various applications, such as a shira-ae (white dressing) style dish where okara (soy pulp) rehydrated with milk was mixed with yogurt, ohitashi (blanched greens) combined with dashi (broth) and yogurt, and fritters made with brown rice flour served with yogurt cream.
•Customer Feedback
Customers shared comments such as, "I was vaguely eating yogurt for gut health, but now I feel I can consume it more efficiently," "I never knew yogurt could go so well with Japanese food," "I want to use it more in my cooking," and "I could use yogurt instead of seasonings like mayonnaise!" The conversation flowed lively among customers as they imagined incorporating yogurt into their daily home cooking, making for a vibrant event.
