On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, FANCL Corporation held a "Kids' Skincare Workshop" for 76 sixth-grade students as part of their curriculum at Yokodai Daiichi Elementary School (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture).
Since 2021, the company has been continuously conducting the "FANCL SDGs Workshop"*, where our employees serve as instructors to provide elementary, middle, and high school students with opportunities to learn about the SDGs through familiar themes.
This workshop was part of that initiative, focusing on the theme of "Healthy Skin."

At the beginning, in addition to introducing our company, the instructor shared their own career path, what they value in their work, and messages for the future to the elementary students, in the hope that it would be a helpful reference as the children think about their own futures.
Following this, we explained the relationship between environmental changes such as global warming and air pollution and the skin, and deepened their understanding of the characteristics of elementary school children's skin and the structure of the skin through quizzes and discussions.
Next, we conducted a hands-on practice using actual skincare products. First, everyone measured their skin's moisture levels, and then six student representatives came to the front to demonstrate the correct facial cleansing method using the skincare product for elementary students, "Clear Up Foam Cleanser
The other students used "Fresh Clear Sheets," which are wiping sheets containing skincare ingredients, to gently wipe away sweat and sebum.
After cleaning their skin, everyone moisturized using the "Clear Up Gel Milk
Even for students whose moisture levels were low before the skincare, the numbers increased significantly afterward, and the venue was filled with great excitement.

In the survey conducted after the workshop, 91%* of students responded that they "understood the importance of skincare." Many students also shared comments such as, "I learned that skincare is important, so I decided to do it every day," and "I decided to take care of my skin by moisturizing," showing an increased awareness regarding the practice of skincare.
(*Out of 56 students who answered the survey, 51 responded "I strongly agree" or "I agree")
Going forward, we will continue to convey the importance of the skin and the correct skincare methods for maintaining healthy skin while having fun learning through experience, and we will continue to provide knowledge that children can practice in their daily lives.
