Free Seminar to Commemorate the Start of the Second Phase of the Co-Creation Project 'Office of the Gentle Infirmary' with Okinawa Times

To commemorate the start of the second phase, a commemorative event will be held on July 2.

The 'Office of the Gentle Infirmary' hosts corporate participation study sessions, special feature pages, events, and more to support 'future-oriented health management' that balances the ease of work for all employees, starting with women, and the enhancement of corporate value. It disseminates information to deepen understanding across society as a whole, not just women as stakeholders, and promotes the creation of environments where everyone can live and work with ease, as well as the growth of companies.

Last year, the initiative focused on supporting the creation of a workplace environment that is friendly to women. Study sessions and events were held for participating companies in Okinawa Prefecture, and active dissemination was conducted through print media. Steps such as 'creating common understanding,' 'learning from other companies' examples,' 'deepening self-understanding,' and 'informing stakeholders about the initiatives' were taken to learn and convey practical methods for improving the workplace environment. Participants commented, 'Exchange with other industries was very meaningful,' and 'The initiatives of other companies are very useful, so I hope to hear more examples in the future,' highlighting the importance of continuing the efforts.

This year, based on last year's initiatives, the second phase will recruit new participating companies in Okinawa Prefecture. The second phase will be a program where both men and women can understand each other's issues and consider them together, delving deeply into men's issues as well.

On July 2, a free seminar themed on 'psychological safety,' which is also related to the second phase program, will be held, and discussions will be held to consider how to maximize team productivity.
