Famione Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yusuke Ishikawa), which develops the healthcare support service 'Famione' (https://famione.com/benefit/) based on the vision of 'creating a society that supports all those who wish for children and enables them to lead happy lives,' has been commissioned by Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture (Mayor: Yoshiki Kohiyama), to continue providing the 'Fertility and Infertility Consultation Service Business' in fiscal year 2026.
Misawa City has been implementing this project since fiscal year 2024. It accepts consultations not only regarding fertility and infertility treatment from individuals but also from those who support them and everyone considering future pregnancy. Furthermore, it addresses a wide range of concerns including childcare, mental health care, menstruation and menopause issues, and communication between partners, providing support tailored to individual needs.
Consultations are anonymous and can be easily used by anyone regardless of gender or age. Since Misawa City offers the Famione Premium Plan for free, text and call consultations are available without limit. Residents can consult online at any time and obtain advice from specialists (nurses, psychologists, etc.) to support their health.
A representative from the Health Promotion Division of Misawa City's Health and Welfare Department commented: 'Misawa City offers "online consultations" where people can consult specialists about concerns regarding fertility, infertility treatment, and healthcare. Even for topics that are difficult to discuss face-to-face, you can consult easily, anonymously, and regardless of the time. We hope many people will use it to gain necessary information and correct knowledge, and spend their days with peace of mind.'
User feedback (excerpts): 'I appreciated the questions that deepened the content of my consultation and felt hopeful.' 'I was listened to without being interrupted. My thoughts were organized and I felt refreshed.'
About Famione: 'Famione' supports corporate health management and women's advancement, as well as resident support in local governments, through 'culture building' via specialist seminars and 'individual support' via online consultations. Users can consult anonymously with qualified professionals such as nurses and psychologists, contributing to improved psychological safety and prevention of health issues. Since 2018, it has been introduced by private companies such as Odakyu Electric Railway and NTT, and various local governments including Kanagawa Prefecture, Setagaya City, and Yamane Prefecture.
