Famione's Consultation Service to Continue in FY2026 for Nara Prefecture's Sexual and Reproductive Health Consultation Center 'Narahagu'

Famione, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yusuke Ishikawa), which operates the healthcare support service 'Famione' (https://famione.com/benefit/) offering employee welfare for corporations and support for residents of local governments under the vision of 'Creating a society where everyone who wishes for a child can lead a happy life with support,' has decided to continue providing online consultation responses for people with concerns about pregnancy, childbirth, sex, and reproduction to residents of Nara Prefecture in FY2026 (Reiwa 8), having been commissioned by Nara Prefecture (Governor: Makoto Yamashita) for the 'Sexual and Reproductive Health Consultation Center "Narahagu"'.

Nara Prefecture aims to provide health support tailored to the physical and mental concerns that arise at each life stage by offering advice from a professional perspective by specialists such as nurses and clinical psychologists regarding various concerns surrounding pregnancy and childbirth for those living, working, or studying in Nara Prefecture.

To build a system where a wider range of people, including the younger generation, can easily consult, the Sexual and Reproductive Health Consultation Center 'Narahagu' was established in FY2024, and Famione has been commissioned to operate it. Through these initiatives, we aim to resolve the worries and anxieties of prefectural residents and promote and enlighten them with correct knowledge.

At 'Narahagu', online consultations regarding sex and health can be conducted anonymously, and support is provided so that residents can use it with peace of mind. Consultations via text message and calls using Zoom etc. are possible, allowing for easy consultation from a smartphone. Advisors with experience and specialized knowledge will listen closely to each worry and problem and respond carefully.

Consultations are accepted not only from the individuals involved but also from those supporting them. In August 2025, an online seminar on 'Basic Knowledge of Infertility Treatment and Mental Care' was held for stakeholders such as public health centers and municipal public health nurses in Nara Prefecture. Also, in March 2026, an online seminar titled 'To Avoid Panicking When the Time Comes ~Preparing for Future Pregnancy~' was held primarily for high school and university students in the prefecture to promote and enlighten them with correct knowledge, such as preconception care.

Nara Prefecture opened the Nara Prefecture Sexual and Reproductive Health Consultation Center 'Narahagu' in FY2024, and FY2026 marks its third year. At 'Narahagu', we respond to various consultations related to sex and health, not only concerns about pregnancy and infertility but also personal sexuality, menopause, and partner communication. Anyone, regardless of age, can consult anonymously, and can easily consult with professionals anytime, anywhere. We hope that many people will come to know about 'Narahagu' and use it as a first step to ease their physical and mental anxieties and lead to choices that are true to themselves.

■ Examples of Initiatives for FY2025

In March 2026, an online seminar titled 'To Avoid Panicking When the Time Comes ~Preparing for Future Pregnancy~' was held, targeting mainly high school and university students in Nara Prefecture, with the theme of preconception care, which is important when thinking about future life design.

The seminar explained the basic knowledge of preconception care, as well as what to do when you find out you are pregnant and the flow up to childbirth, which is reassuring to know in advance, while introducing a work time utilizing a preconception check sheet. We also touched upon available systems and sexually transmitted infections.
