'Famione Sex Education' has been highly supported by many since its launch in 2021. It is an annual online seminar held with the experts' desire to 'make comprehensive sex education more accessible and deliver accurate knowledge.' Over the past five years, it has been held six times, with the cumulative number of applicants exceeding 2,700.

This year, professionals from various fields specializing in sex and reproduction, such as clinical psychologists, midwives, and embryologists, will take the stage. In addition to programs for boys and girls, we are introducing a new program for supporters and educators focusing on sex crimes in educational institutions and the Japanese DBS system, delivering multifaceted perspectives to protect children.

Recently, reports and information concerning sex are overflowing daily, and the need for 'sex education' is growing increasingly critical. Furthermore, society as a whole is demanding an update to 'comprehensive sex education,' which not only conveys knowledge of physical development and reproduction but also encompasses a broad perspective including emotional changes, sexual diversity, gender, and consent.

In addition, sexual abuse cases in educational settings have become a social problem in recent years, prompting the advancement of the Japanese DBS system in 2024. In this year's event, we will also focus on enlightening the adults protecting children (parents, teachers, supporters), providing knowledge and practical skills to protect children's safety across society as a whole.
