FamilyMart Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeo Kotani), which will celebrate its 45th anniversary in September 2026, will engage in activities based on five keywords it has continuously pursued, under the slogan "Ichiban Challenge." As part of its initiative to become "the most loved by the community," FamilyMart will sequentially implement a donation drive for disaster preparedness food items with Aoyama Trading Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Taizo Endo, hereinafter Aoyama Trading), starting July 6 (Mon.). This marks the first such initiative in the Kanto region for the FamilyMart Food Drive.

Disaster preparedness items replaced at 'Yofuku no Aoyama' stores donated to 'FamilyMart Food Drive'
This initiative involves donating surplus disaster preparedness food items, which are periodically replaced by 'Yofuku no Aoyama,' operated by Aoyama Trading, to the 'FamilyMart Food Drive.' Foods brought from each store to nearby FamilyMart Food Drive participating stores will be delivered to community members in need of food support through FamilyMart Food Drive's partner NPOs and social welfare councils.
Following the significant success of the initial phase, the scale of the initiative has been expanded!
In the first phase in 2025, donations were received from Aoyama Trading's Fukuyama Headquarters and 41 'Yofuku no Aoyama' stores in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions (Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Tokushima, Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi prefectures). Many expressions of gratitude were received from the recipient organizations, and significant results were achieved by integrating the infrastructure and regional networks of both companies.
Based on this track record, the scale of this implementation has been significantly expanded. With the support of Aoyama Trading for further promotion of social contribution, donations will be made from 85 'Yofuku no Aoyama' stores in the Kanto region (Chiba, Saitama, Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki prefectures) to 83 nearby FamilyMart stores. We will further contribute to the expansion of community-based food support and the reduction of food loss by deepening collaboration between different industries.

<Comments from Company Representatives>
● Aoyama Trading Co., Ltd. (Michitake Hasebe, Executive Officer, ESG Promotion and Corporate Headquarters and General Affairs Department Manager)
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to food loss reduction and food support for the local community through FamilyMart's initiative, following our previous collaboration.
This fiscal year, based on the response from the previous initiative, we were able to expand the scale from 42 locations in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions (including Fukuyama Headquarters) to 85 stores in the Kanto region.
Our company is also working to solve social issues through the collection of unwanted clothing and resource recycling at our stores located in all 47 prefectures. We aim to maximize the impact through corporate partnerships and to further serve the local communities.
● FamilyMart (Hiroaki Kusama, Executive Officer, Regional Representative (Greater Tokyo Area))
I am very pleased that we were able to implement this initiative by expanding the area to five prefectures in the Kanto region and doubling the number of stores compared to last year.
We have received many expressions of gratitude from our cooperating partners in each region since the pre-announcement stage this year, and I am once again deeply impressed by the strengths that only companies operating nationwide can leverage, and the significance of this initiative.
We will continue to achieve what cannot be accomplished by a single company through collaboration and cooperation, thereby further contributing to the expansion of community-based food support and the reduction of food loss.

Voices from Partner Organizations that Received Food Last Time
- As these were preparedness items, they were utilized in disaster preparedness training sessions primarily for operators of children's spaces. They were gratefully received, as they were used within a limited budget.
- These will be used to support families with children and individuals working in facilities for people with disabilities within the prefecture.
With the price of rice soaring and significantly impacting many people's lives, receiving food items such as rice and carbohydrates like these is truly invaluable.
FamilyMart, under its slogan "To you, with you, FamilyMart," aims to be an indispensable place beyond convenience, by staying close to the community and connecting with each customer like family.

The Meaning Behind "Ichiban Challenge"
FamilyMart will celebrate its 45th anniversary in September 2026.
To remain the "number one" choice for customers beyond the scope of a convenience store, in line with the changing times, we have adopted "Ichiban Challenge: Creating Many of Your 'Number Ones'" as our new slogan.
Under this slogan, we will continue to take on the biggest challenges in FamilyMart's history, based on eight fields: "Delicious," "A Little More Value," "Exciting and Fun," "Discover Something Wonderful," "Innovative and Cutting-Edge," "Environmentally Friendly," "A Great Place to Work," and "Loved by the Community."
