What is the 'Web Application Programmer Training Course — Learn from the Basics!'?

What is Job Seeker Support Training?

The "Job Seeker Support Program" targets job seekers who are not eligible for unemployment insurance benefits (see note). Private educational institutions certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare provide vocational training to help participants acquire the skills and knowledge needed for employment.

Tuition is free in principle (textbook fees and similar costs are the participant's responsibility). Hello Work (public employment service) actively supports job placement both during and after the training period. Participants who meet certain requirements may receive a monthly training allowance of 100,000 yen (see note) during the training period.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Individuals raising children or providing nursing care

  • Individuals who do not have a training institution in their area of residence

  • Individuals who require special consideration when attending training, such as those currently employed

  • Individuals who own a PC with internet access, can cover internet costs, and can arrange a suitable internet-connected work environment at home or elsewhere

  • Individuals who can perform basic computer operations such as creating files and using fundamental software
