What is Job Seeker Support Training?

'Job Seeker Support System' is a program designed for those who cannot receive employment insurance (Note). Private educational training institutions, certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, implement vocational training to acquire skills and knowledge necessary for employment.

 In principle, tuition is free (though costs such as textbooks are at the student's expense), and Hello Work actively provides employment support both during and after the training period. Additionally, if certain requirements are met, a 'Vocational Training Benefit (Note)' of 100,000 yen per month will be provided during the training period.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Individuals currently engaged in childcare or nursing care.

  • Individuals who do not have training institutions in their residential area.

  • Individuals currently employed who require specific accommodations for training.

  • Individuals who own a PC capable of connecting to the internet, can cover communication costs, and can provide an internet connection environment at home or in their working environment.

  • Individuals capable of basic computer operations, such as creating files and performing basic software operations.
