Everylive Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuyoshi Kageyama) hosted the qualifying live event "Next Up! vol.2" for the "every-1 Tatekon Grand Prix 2026," a next-generation comedy competition that blends "comedy" and "live streaming." The event was held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Shinjuku Batious.
◾️ What is the every-1 Grand Prix?
The every-1 Grand Prix is a new form of comedy competition that combines "comedy" and "live streaming," launched by Everylive Inc. in 2025.
The "every-1 Tatekon Grand Prix" is an event where participants compete with "vertical skits" that utilize the vertical screen of smartphones. In the qualifying rounds held on "everyfriends (Everyfriends)," a comprehensive entertainment platform operated by Everylive Inc., finalists are determined by votes for their entry videos.
In parallel with this event, the "every-1 Grand Prix" is also held, competing in a wide range of genres such as manzai, skits, and solo acts. Winners for this competition are decided through live streaming and voting within the everylive app.
Both events are held four times a year, with a prize money of 100,000 yen for the winner. The Grand Prix event held at the end of the year offers a prize money of 1,000,000 yen, making it a major event where participants who have won the qualifying events compete for the prize.
Furthermore, from this year's event, BS12 TwellV is sponsoring, and the program "Hawaii ni Koishite!" (Falling in Love with Hawaii), broadcast on BS12 TwellV, is cooperating to support the event.
BS12 TwellV "Hawaii ni Koishite!"
"Hawaii ni Koishite!," broadcast on the nationwide free-to-air BS12 TwellV, is a Hawaii information program celebrating its 16th year on air this year.
A spin-off program of "Hawaii ni Koishite!," everyfriends presents "Hawa Koi Cafe!," started broadcasting from May 3rd.
Winners of the "every-1 Grand Prix Next Up!" held in April, July, and September will receive the privilege of appearing on the program. Please look forward to the hilarious talks that can only be seen here.
