EVERING is a prepaid smart ring compatible with Visa's contactless payment. Users charge it from a card registered in the dedicated app, and payment is completed by simply tapping the ring. It requires no charging and blends into daily life as it's worn every day.

Launch Event Report

A media launch event was held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Joshin Nihonbashi Event Space in Osaka, where CEO Ken Kawata introduced the concept behind the collaboration and the products. Former Hanshin Tigers players Kosuke Fukudome and Takashi Toritani also appeared as special guests. They demonstrated the payment functionality by actually wearing the collaboration ring and tapping to make a contactless payment.

Born April 26, 1977, from Kagoshima Prefecture. Throws right, bats left. Graduated from PL Gakuen High School and played for Nippon Life before being drafted first overall by the Chunichi Dragons in the 1998 draft via a reverse draft pick. Played for the Chunichi Dragons (1999-2007, 2021-2022), Major League Baseball (2008-2012 / Chicago Cubs, Cleveland, Chicago White Sox), and the Hanshin Tigers (2013-2020). Won the batting title twice (2002, 2006), led in on-base percentage three times, and was awarded the Central League MVP in 2006. Received Best Nine awards four times and Golden Glove awards five times. Retired from professional baseball after the 2022 season and currently works as a baseball commentator.

Takashi Toritani / Former Hanshin Tiger

Born June 26, 1981, from Tokyo. Throws right, bats left. Graduated from Seibo Gakuen High School and Waseda University before joining the Hanshin Tigers as a free acquisition in the 2003 draft. Played as a shortstop, serving as a key player for the team. Played for the Hanshin Tigers (2004-2019) and the Chiba Lotte Marines (2020-2021). On September 8, 2017, he achieved his 2000th career hit, becoming the 50th player in history to do so, with a total of 2099 hits. His streak of 1939 consecutive games played ranks second all-time. Received Best Nine awards six times and Golden Glove awards five times. Retired from professional baseball after the 2021 season and currently works as a baseball commentator and critic.
