Approximately 700 Global Startups Gathered

"SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026" is Asia's largest global innovation conference organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. In 2026, approximately 770 startups from various countries and regions worldwide participated, showcasing their products and services at individual booths. About 60,000 people, including companies and investors, gathered, creating a lively international co-creation platform.

On the first day, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike took the stage, expressing their expectations for SusHiTechTokyo. High-ranking officials from various countries also visited, indicating the high level of interest from government and administrative bodies.

Taiwan Pavilion Established as the Largest Pavilion

At the venue, centered around Taiwan's National Development Council (hereinafter NDC), the "Startup Terrace" (a Taiwanese government-affiliated startup support hub), New Taipei City Government, and investment institutions collaborated to establish the Taiwan Pavilion. Over 20 Taiwanese startups, mainly in AI, sustainability, and healthcare sectors, participated in the Taiwan Pavilion. It served as a place embodying an innovation ecosystem where government, startups, and investors collaborate to create new value.

On the day, Taiwan's Minister of Environmental Affairs, Peng Chi-ming, also visited the Taiwan Pavilion and encouraged the exhibiting companies.

LEBM Participates as One of Five Representative Startups

LEBM participated in the Taiwan Pavilion after being selected as one of five representative startups in the "Startup Island TAIWAN" national startup project promoted by the NDC.

PharmaDemand AI is being validated based on a network of over 1,200 pharmacies in Taiwan, and its effectiveness and future potential are highly regarded. Future expansion into the Japanese market is anticipated.

AI for Drug Demand Forecasting and Order Optimization, PharmaDemand AI

"PharmaDemand AI," exhibited by LEBM, is an AI-driven demand forecasting and optimization platform developed for pharmacies.

By combining CDT (Consumer Digital Twin) and POS (Point of Sale) data, it forecasts demand for 7, 30, and 90 days ahead at the SKU level for each store. This leads to a reduction in stockout risk, waste reduction, and improved inventory efficiency.

At the venue, a demonstration of a dashboard visualizing inventory status, demand forecasts, and recommended orders in real-time was used to present concrete use cases.

Exploring Possibilities for Collaboration and PoC in the Japanese Market

During the conference, LEBM conducted business negotiations regarding PoCs and joint development with Japanese marketing companies, pharmacies, and system vendors. Specific discussions were advanced toward full-scale expansion into the Japanese market.

Attendees' feedback included comments such as, "I got a clear image of practical operations," "I feel this is a highly needed area in the Japanese market," and "There's potential for application in various industries, not just pharmacies."

Progress Towards Japanese Market Expansion

After the conference, LEBM Chairperson Sylvia Ren commented as follows:

"We realized the high demand and concrete application possibilities in the Japanese market. While PharmaDemand AI is a solution that contributes to optimizing pharmaceutical distribution, it is based on consumer behavior data, so we believe it can be applied to various industries, including retail and healthcare."

Moving forward, LEBM plans to materialize its expansion into the Japanese market by promoting PoCs and joint development through collaborations with Japanese companies.
