Ericsson Japan K.K. ("Ericsson") announces that Hiroaki Ando will be appointed as the new President and Representative Director, effective April 1, 2026. Satoshi Nozaki, who has served as President and Representative Director, will assume the roles of Chairman and Representative Director, and Chief Strategy Officer for the Northeast Asia Region on the same date.
The current President and Representative Director, Jawad Manssour, will remain in his position, resulting in a new structure with three Representative Directors.
In addition, Yukiko Sato will join the company as an Executive Officer on the same date to further strengthen the management structure. Sato is scheduled to be appointed as a Director subject to approval at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held in April.
To become a trusted partner for Japanese industry and society, Ericsson is accelerating its domestic initiatives, including the announcement in February this year to establish a new R&D center in Yokohama, in addition to strengthening relationships with customers. The strengthening of the management structure is part of these efforts.
Under the new structure, the company will integrate its knowledge and leadership to contribute to the further development of the Japanese ICT market.

About the New President and Representative Director Name: Hiroaki Ando Biography: Joined Ericsson Japan in 2011. Served in key roles including Director and Head of Business Unit, and Executive Officer of Strategic Business Planning, engaging in market entry and competitive positioning for telecommunications operators. Possesses a unique, cross-generational perspective on mobile infrastructure and has driven network evolution in the Japanese telecommunications industry for over 30 years. Played an important role in formulating sales strategies for RAN and core network projects, and acquiring multi-year contracts that form the foundation of LTE and 5G. Holds an MBA in International Management from Aoyama Gakuin University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Delaware. Completed Executive Leadership Programs at London Business School and Hult EF.
