EQUES, a University of Tokyo Matsuo Lab Spin-off, Signs Partnership Agreement with Akamai

EQUES Inc. (headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Naoki Kishi; hereinafter 'the Company'), a University of Tokyo Matsuo Laboratory startup engaged in AI development for the pharmaceutical industry and other sectors, has entered into a partnership agreement with Akamai Technologies G.K. (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hirokazu Hinokuma; hereinafter 'Akamai'), which provides cutting-edge GPUs, to support Akamai's customers with AI technology.

Through this collaboration, fast and secure agent environments will be realized in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems that utilize internal documents and other materials. Additionally, by combining Akamai Inference Cloud with EQUES's advanced AI technology, EQUES will provide walking-alongside support for hypothesis testing (PoC) of AI models tailored to each company's objectives.
