EO Beyond Japan
EO Beyond Japan (Entrepreneurs' Organization Beyond Japan) is pleased to announce the transition of the chairmanship from its founding chairman, Minako Suematsu, to Takashi Takahashi. Concurrently, a mid-term vision has been established to guide the organization's activities over the next three years, coinciding with the launch of the new leadership.
Since its establishment in 2025, EO Beyond Japan has operated as a community for entrepreneurs and business leaders from diverse backgrounds, guided by the philosophy of "Creating a future where everyone in Japanese society can challenge themselves and thrive as their true selves."
Under the leadership of founding chairman Minako Suematsu, the organization has fostered a space for learning and exchange that transcends differences in gender, age, nationality, and industry. Based on EO's core values of Trust & Respect, it has promoted the growth and mutual support of each member.
Takashi Takahashi, the incoming second chairman, will inherit the culture built during the founding period and lead the community's development into its next growth phase as a "practical model for diverse leadership in Japanese society."
Comment from New Chairman Takashi Takahashi
Takashi Takahashi (Co-Founder, BrainPad Inc.)
I am honored to receive the baton from the former chairman, who is also a founder of this chapter, becoming the second chairman for EO Beyond Japan.
As an experimental chapter, EO Beyond Japan, which has achieved gender balance, does not limit eligibility to founders, and is composed of entrepreneurial business leaders gathered from all over Japan, has moved beyond the trial-and-error of its initial phase. I feel that a stable "format" is emerging, thanks to the active participation and cooperation of its members.
As chairman, I aim to solidify this format into a robust system, thereby improving operational efficiency. The resulting capacity will be dedicated to maximizing opportunities for member growth (through learning) and to pursuing new challenges (experiments) as a next-generation chapter.
Comment from Founding Chairman Minako Suematsu
Minako Suematsu (Representative Director, Chairman & CEO, The Japan Times, Ltd.)
"EO Beyond Japan started with the desire to 'turn differences into strengths.'
Although it was a small community at its inception, it has grown into a chapter with a unique presence within EO Japan, thanks to the empathy and cooperation of many members.
I sincerely hope that under the new chairman, Takahashi, the culture we have cultivated will further develop, evolving into a space where diverse business leaders can confidently pursue their challenges."
