ENEOS Holdings (hereinafter, ENEOS HD) announces its sponsorship of the Japan Wheelchair Basketball Federation (hereinafter, JWBF), supporting JWBF's activities as an Official Supporter.

Wheelchair basketball follows nearly the same rules as standard basketball, except for the use of wheelchairs. Known for its fast-paced movements unique to wheelchairs and quick passing plays, it is one of the most popular para sports.

Since the 2017 fiscal year, ENEOS HD has conducted support activities aimed at raising awareness, promoting the sport, and nurturing athletes to contribute to the development of this sport. This year, ENEOS HD will continue its sponsorship of the "Athlete Discovery Support Project: Challengers."

The 2026 fiscal year's Challengers program kicks off with "ONE DAY CHALLENGERS in Iwate," an event on June 27 (Saturday) where participants can experience a full day of wheelchair basketball team activities. This initiative provides an opportunity for diverse individuals to interact and share the joy of teamwork. Leveraging the inclusive nature of the sport—open to all regardless of age or disability—it aims to foster mutual respect for differences and help create vibrant communities where everyone can thrive.

For schedules and details of upcoming events, please visit the official JWBF website: (https://jwbf.gr.jp)

Under one of the ENEOS Group's core principles, "Contributing to the Development of Civil Society," ENEOS HD will continue to actively promote sports development and nurture the next generation.

* Until the 2025 fiscal year, ENEOS Corporation, a 100% subsidiary, was the sponsor. Starting in the 2026 fiscal year, sponsorship has been transferred to ENEOS HD.
