Eneliver Wallbox (6kW EV Normal Charger) Obtains JARI Certification

Eneliver Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Akimasa Nakajima, hereinafter 'Eneliver') announces that its 6kW normal charger for EV/PHEVs, the 'Eneliver Wallbox,' obtained certification from the Japan Automobile Research Institute (JARI) regarding safety and quality standards for EV chargers on March 27, 2026.

With this certification, the 'Eneliver Wallbox' is expected to be eligible for the EV charging infrastructure subsidies provided by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of the Environment. This aims to further promote the installation of EV charging facilities not only in detached houses but also in apartments, lodging facilities, commercial complexes, offices, factories, and parking facilities.

The 'Eneliver Wallbox' is a multi-functional EV charger that supports the international standard communication protocol OCPP (*1). By integrating with 'Eneliver Cloud' (*2), a cloud-based EV charging management system provided by Eneliver, diverse operations such as demand control, remote monitoring, digital billing, and vehicle management are possible. It is already utilized by many EV charging service providers, and connection to proprietary OCPP servers can be easily set up using just a smartphone.

Furthermore, it supports the specific measurement system, enabling billing based on the amount of charge (kWh). This allows for the provision of highly fair EV charging services at a low cost without the need for expensive additional meters.
